In Eskişehir, a female driver with a blood alcohol level of 1.23 promille and no driver's license, who was stopped by civilian traffic teams, along with the vehicle owner, was fined a total of 290,000 TL. The driver's boyfriend, angered by the fine, kicked the police vehicle and their own car, causing a disturbance with statements like 'I know the son of the former police chief.'
Civilian traffic teams affiliated with the Traffic Branch Directorate of the Eskişehir Provincial Police Department stopped the car with license plate 26 ALT 367 traveling on 746th Street in the Tepebaşı district. In the alcohol test administered to the driver Z.S.K., it was determined that he had 1.23 promil alcohol in his blood. In the detailed system review conducted by the teams, it was discovered that the driver's license had previously been confiscated due to drunk driving and that he had gotten behind the wheel again without a license.
TOTAL FINE OF 290 THOUSAND TL FOR THE DRIVER AND VEHICLE OWNER
Following the detected violations, the traffic teams imposed penalties. An administrative fine totaling 290 thousand TL was issued, with 250 thousand TL to the driver Z.S.K. for driving under the influence and without a license, and 40 thousand TL to the vehicle owner under the relevant provisions.
HE KICKED THE POLICE VEHICLE
While the judicial procedures were ongoing, the driver's boyfriend, angered by the fine written to his girlfriend and the police operation, caused a disturbance at the scene. Unable to control his anger, the individual kicked a total of four times: once on the undercover police vehicle and three times on their own car. It was also noteworthy that the individual tried to pressure the police officers on duty by claiming to know a former police chief who had served in the city.
THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE IMPOUND LOT
After the incident, the driver Z.S.K. was taken to the police station to complete the necessary judicial and administrative procedures. The car, which was not collected at the scene, was towed to the impound lot by a tow truck.
