As the state dignitaries led by President Erdoğan proceeded from the Lion's Road to the mausoleum, Bahçeli and Kılıçdaroğlu, who remained at the rear of the cortege, walked side by side.
An official ceremony was held at Anıtkabir on the occasion of the 104th anniversary of the Great Victory and Turkish Armed Forces Day. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who signed the Anıtkabir Special Book at the ceremony attended by the state dignitaries under his leadership, emphasized that they will continue to strengthen the Republic of Türkiye with the spirit of brotherhood and solidarity.
STATE DIGNITARIES WALKED DOWN LION ROAD
As every year, Anıtkabir was the first stop of the August 30 Victory Day celebrations. The ceremony began with a procession led by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and state dignitaries walking from Lion Road to the mausoleum. The cortege included Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye Numan Kurtulmuş, Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu, cabinet members, heads of high judicial bodies, and commanders.

WREATH LAID AT THE MAUSOLEUM
After the walk along Lion Road, President Erdoğan laid a wreath adorned with a crescent and star motif at the mausoleum of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. The ceremony at the mausoleum concluded with a moment of silence and the reading of the National Anthem. The delegation then proceeded to the Misak-ı Milli Tower.
