Two brothers were shot and killed in a gunfight in Adana. Police, who arrived at the scene after the report, found 12 empty cartridges. THEY RAINED BULLETS ON THE TWO BROTHERSThe incident occurred around 04:00 in the Çınarlı neighborhood of the Sarıçam district. Allegedly, a dispute broke out between two groups for reasons yet to be determined. The argument quickly escalated into a gunfight. During the fight, Serdar and Umut Akipa, who were brothers and part of one group, were shot in various parts of their bodies by the other group's gunfire. BOTH LOST THEIR LIVESAs the brothers collapsed to the ground in a pool of blood, police and medical teams were dispatched to the area upon notification. Medical teams confirmed that Umut Akipa had died, while Serdar Akipa was taken to the hospital. Despite the interventions at the hospital, Serdar Akipa could not be saved either. The bodies of the Akipa brothers were taken to the Adana Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for autopsy. 12 EMPTY CARTRIDGES WERE FOUND AT THE SCENEPolice found 12 empty cartridges at the scene and conducted evidence collection in the area. Efforts to capture the suspects are ongoing.
