A pregnant woman and a man beside her were shot and killed in an apartment in Şişli, Istanbul. After the incident, four suspects were captured on security cameras.
In Şişli, a pregnant woman and the man next to her were shot and killed in an apartment on the ground floor of the 5-story Trump Apartment, while police teams launched an operation to capture the assailants. It was determined that 4 suspects were caught on security cameras.
PREGNANT WOMAN AND THE MAN NEXT TO HER WERE KILLED WITH A GUN
According to the information obtained, the incident occurred late at night on Yavru Kuş Street in the Kuştepe neighborhood of Şişli. Allegedly, masked assailants entered the apartment on the ground floor of the 5-story Trump Apartment. The assailants opened fire on Gültekin Gezer (23). They then shot the pregnant Kader Küçük Coşkun. Upon hearing the gunshots, those nearby alerted the police and medical teams. Medical teams determined that Gezer and Coşkun had lost their lives. The bodies were taken to the morgue of the Forensic Medicine Institution after investigations at the scene. Police teams launched an operation to capture the assailants.
4 SUSPECTS CAUGHT ON CAMERA
While efforts to capture the assailants continue, it was determined that 4 suspects passing through the street near the apartment where the incident occurred were caught on security cameras. The footage shows the 4 suspects, who are alleged to have committed the act, quickly fleeing the scene.
A woman named Yağmur said, "We woke up to the sound of fighting in the early morning hours. There were police in the morning. I don't know her well. She was pregnant. I was very saddened. I don't know her husband." Another neighborhood resident stated, "When we looked out the window, we saw the ambulance and the police. I heard a woman screaming. There were some people downstairs. There was a cry."
