Yılmaz Ulusoy, a famous businessman and one of the partners of Ulusoy Maritime Inc., has passed away. It is noteworthy that Ulusoy died on February 23, just like his brother Saffet Ulusoy.
Yılmaz Ulusoy, a businessman and one of the partners of Ulusoy Maritime Inc., has passed away. Ulusoy's funeral will be held tomorrow after the funeral prayer at Levent Barbaros Hayrettin Paşa Mosque and he will be buried at Zincirlikuyu Cemetery.
In a statement from Yılmaz Ulusoy Holding, it was expressed, "We are deeply saddened by the loss of our company's founder, Mr. Yılmaz Ulusoy. His funeral will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, following the noon prayer at Levent Barbaros Hayrettin Paşa Mosque, and he will be buried at Zincirlikuyu Cemetery."

The date of Yılmaz Ulusoy's death is February 23, which is also the anniversary of his brother Saffet Ulusoy's death... Saffet Ulusoy was known for his significant contributions to the development of Ro-Ro transportation in Turkey.
WHO IS YILMAZ ULUSOY?
Born in 1941 in the Of district of Trabzon, Yılmaz Ulusoy started his business career at Ulusoy Holding. In 2008, he left there to establish his own company, Yılmaz Ulusoy Holding. He also held positions such as membership in the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ITO), Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ISO), and the Maritime Trade Chamber (DTO), as well as being a member of TÜSİAD.
Ulusoy served as the president of Samsunspor Club from 1968 to 1971. Most recently, he received the "Business World Honor Award" at the 18th Ekovitrin Stars of the Year Awards Ceremony. Yılmaz Ulusoy, who was married to Serap Ulusoy, was the father of three children and had five grandchildren.
