In Aydın's Didim district, driver Kezban Nur Karakaya and passenger Özlem Erişkin lost their lives after a car went out of control and crashed into a ditch.
The driver of the car, Kezban Nur Karakaya (29), and passenger Özlem Erişkin (30) lost their lives when the vehicle veered into a ditch in the Didim district of Aydın.
INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED INTO THE ACCIDENT
The accident occurred around 16:15 on the Denizköy road in the Didim district. The car with license plate 20 ASB 838, driven by Kezban Nur Karakaya, veered into a ditch after she lost control. Police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification. The injured driver, Karakaya, was taken to Aydın City Hospital, while passenger Özlem Erişkin was taken to Didim State Hospital. Despite doctors' intervention, Karakaya and Erişkin, whose conditions were critical, could not be saved.
An investigation into the accident has been launched.
