Antalyan diver Hüseyin Fırat was threatened after he retrieved occult materials from the sea and shared them on social media.
Diver Hüseyin Fırat, who dives in Antalya and shares his videos on his social media account named "There is life underwater," filed a criminal complaint with the Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against one of those who threatened him.
WITCHCRAFT WITH PASSPORT PHOTO
Hüseyin Fırat stated that about a month ago, during a dive in the Yalım Park area, he found witchcraft materials under the cliffs near the shore.
"When I first saw this object from a distance, I thought it was a cigarette pack. But when I completed my dive and picked up the object, I noticed it had a passport photo, papers with Arabic writing, and was wrapped with tape," said Fırat, continuing:
"Then I realized this was witchcraft material. I brought the material home, opened it with my wife, and shared it on social media. There was a passport photo of a citizen we didn't know."
"THEY THREATENED TO CAST SPELLS ON US"
Fırat said that while sharing this material, he blurred the clear parts of the photo, not wanting to take a step that would disturb that person.
Stating that they were later threatened by "sorcerers," Hüseyin Fırat recorded the following:
"This also disturbed these people. Some accounts on social media threatened us, insulted us, and threatened to cast spells on us. Since the profiles of these accounts were public, we checked them. They are people interested in concepts like 'metaphysics' and 'witchcraft,' and clearly, they make a living from it."
"WE ALSO ENCOUNTERED ADVANCED SORCERY"
Fırat also expressed that they sometimes encounter more advanced sorcery.
"We encountered witchcraft with passport photos. We came across tablet spells. We found spells with Arabic papers placed inside glass bottles and thrown. Especially, we noticed this about spells: Advanced sorcery generally appears where flowing freshwater waterfalls meet the sea. Probably, these people throw it into freshwater, and the water brings it to the sea. We find these more often under waterfalls," he said.
Fırat filed a criminal complaint with the Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding these individuals.
He added that once the identity is determined through the prosecutor's office, they will file a compensation lawsuit.
"THE MOST POPULAR WITCHCRAFT, PADLOCK"
Fırat, also emphasizing that they encounter many witchcraft incidents during their dives, described the most popular witchcraft materials:
"You may not believe this, but we pull out so many witchcraft materials that without exception, we come across one or two witchcraft materials in every dive. The most common of these are padlocks. At first, we couldn't understand why we found so many of them. Later, our followers told us. These are used for spells to open or close fortune, and I come across 4-5 padlocks on every dive."
