While it was announced that Yilmaz, who had a stent inserted, was in good health, he thanked his followers in a social media post saying, 'Thank you, friends, I'm fine,' and shared a photo.
Famous comedian Cem Yılmaz was taken to the hospital with chest pain and underwent angioplasty surgery after being diagnosed with a heart attack. It was announced that Yılmaz, 53, whose blocked artery was stented in a successful 40-minute operation at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University (ÇOMÜ) Hospital, is in good health.
FIRST INTERVENTION IN AYVACIK, RACING AGAINST TIME
After completing the filming of the movie G.O.R.A., Cem Yılmaz called 112 Emergency Services due to severe pain in his chest and back and was first taken to Ayvacık State Hospital. After the rapid intervention there, the comedian was transferred to the Coronary Intensive Care Unit of ÇOMÜ Hospital and was taken for emergency angioplasty. The doctor who performed the operation stated that the balloon and stent procedure was successfully completed in about 40 minutes through the wrist. It was emphasized that intervention was carried out within the first two hours of the attack without any damage to the heart tissue.

After Yılmaz was hospitalized, officials and his family informed the public about the treatment process:
Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu: Announced that the necessary medical interventions were successfully carried out, the artist's general condition is good, and he continues to be monitored in the coronary intensive care unit.
ÇOMÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Cüneyt Erenoğlu: Stating that he visited Yılmaz in his room, he said, "Thank God his general health condition is very good, he is even making jokes."
Can Yılmaz (His brother): Stating that his brother's heart spasm was intervened without delay and the process was completed successfully, he thanked everyone who sent their good wishes.
The doctor who performed the operation: Announced that the patient is being kept in intensive care against possible expected complications, and if his general condition continues to improve, he can be transferred to a regular ward after 24 hours and discharged within a day or two.
