As a new process begins in the long-debated mysterious death case of Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu, his close comrade Cemal Eğin made striking statements. Addressing the Ministries of Interior and Justice from the Haberler.com studio, Eğin said, "I am reporting," and demanded an investigation into why the wreckage could not be found for 47 hours, despite two phones ringing after the helicopter crash.

Eğin said, "I am making a report from here to our Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Justice, and all officials of our state. When Muhsin leader's helicopter was shot down, I called two mobile phone numbers registered to me. Both numbers were ringing. They were not out of coverage area. Why couldn't it be found for 47 hours? This needs to be investigated."

Eğin stated that there are questions awaiting answers for years regarding the search and rescue efforts after the helicopter crash. Emphasizing that the phones were not out of coverage area, Eğin said it should be clarified why the wreckage could not be reached for a long time despite this.

CASE SENT TO ANKARA

The investigation into the crash that killed Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu and those with him, conducted by the Kahramanmaraş Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, was sent to the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office due to a lack of jurisdiction.

Official documents and evidence being transferred

After the lack of jurisdiction decision becomes final, all official documents, suspect and witness statements, expert reports, and evidence collected in the case to date will be forwarded to Ankara. The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office will review the existing investigation documents and determine the subsequent judicial process.
