The incident occurred around 16:00 on August 29 on 2815th Street in the Petrolkent neighborhood of Batman. According to the information obtained, S.C. found the lifeless body of his wife, 55-year-old Seve Cihangir, in the garbage container in their yard.
Upon the report, health and police teams were dispatched to the address. In the examinations conducted, it was determined that Seve Cihangir had been killed by stabbing. While police teams were continuing their work at the scene, Seve Cihangir's 30-year-old son, Haşim Cihangir, went to the police headquarters. There, Cihangir said he had killed his mother and wanted to surrender. Subsequently, Haşim Cihangir was taken into custody.
