CHP member Hasan Öztürkmen claimed that MHP Altındağ Municipal Council Member Ayhan Yazıcı, along with two others, stormed a school and assaulted a teacher. It was alleged that the teacher was taken to the hospital after the incident and experienced hearing loss, while Öztürkmen stated that despite what happened, no arrests had been made yet.
CHP Gaziantep Deputy Hasan Öztürkmen, in a statement made at the Turkish Grand National Assembly, drew attention to the increasing incidents of violence in schools and brought up an incident he claimed occurred in Ankara. Öztürkmen alleged that MHP Altındağ Municipal Council Member Ayhan Yazıcı stormed the school with two others after a fight involving a student for whom he is a guardian.
"AYHAN YAZICI BEAT THE TEACHER"
According to Öztürkmen, the incident took place on March 31, 2026, at Turgut Özal Middle School in the Pursaklar district of Ankara. Öztürkmen stated that Yazıcı approached the student who was fighting with his child, and that the supervising teacher, Ömer Ocak, tried to intervene to stop the situation. However, it was claimed that Yazıcı and the two individuals accompanying him attacked teacher Ocak in front of the students.
"THE TEACHER HAS HEARING LOSS"
The statement indicated that the assaulted teacher was taken to the hospital, where it was reported that he experienced hearing loss due to the blow to his ear and that his treatment is ongoing. Öztürkmen claimed that there are also recordings of the attack and a report of the assault.
Öztürkmen alleged that after the incident, a group came to the school again, claiming that Fazlı Altınok, the President of the Pursaklar Ülkü Ocakları, and the individuals accompanying him intimidated the teachers. Stating that the teachers reacted to this situation, Öztürkmen said that the group threatened the teachers and left the school.
Öztürkmen asserted that the teachers filed a criminal complaint against the assailants, but despite approximately 48 hours passing since the incident, no arrests had been made. Calling on Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin and MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, Öztürkmen requested that the authorities intervene in the matter.
"WE HAVEN'T RECEIVED ANY ARREST NEWS"
Öztürkmen made the following claims regarding the incident he described as occurring in Ankara:
"Our schools have turned into Texas. Neither our teachers nor our students are safe. Reports of violence in education are unending. Just last month, we received news of a teacher being killed by a student in class, and now we have another report of violence against a teacher from Ankara. However, there is also a political disgrace within this news of violence. Location: Turgut Özal Middle School in Pursaklar, Ankara. Date: March 31, 2026. Two days ago. MHP Altındağ Municipal Council Member Ayhan Yazıcı storms the school with two others after a student he is a guardian of gets involved in a fight. The MHP group, which intimidates the teachers, hurls threats. The attacking group, which filmed the teachers protesting and reacting with applause, leaves the school saying, 'We will meet again, we will settle the score.'

Hey Republic Prosecutors, when will you give the necessary instructions for the city thugs who stormed the school?"
