An armed attack was carried out against Mustafa Mert Olcar, the CHP Mayor of Kadirli district in Osmaniye, and his accompanying delegation. During a visit to tradesmen in the city center, gunfire was opened on the group from a moving car. The attack, which caused great fear and panic in the district center, resulted in no casualties or injuries by chance. FIRE OPENED FROM A MOVING VEHICLE

The incident occurred in the evening hours in the Kadirli city center. While CHP-affiliated Mayor Mustafa Mert Olcar, along with his delegation, was visiting shopkeepers and chatting with citizens, a moving car passing through the street opened fire in succession towards the group. As gunshots rang out, causing great panic in the area, Mayor Olcar and those with him tried to protect themselves.

NO ONE WAS INJURED BY CHANCE

After raining bullets, the attackers quickly fled the scene and disappeared without a trace. Miraculously, no one among Mayor Mustafa Mert Olcar and his delegation was injured or killed. Following reports from nearby citizens, a large number of police forces were dispatched to the area.

EXTENSIVE INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED

After the attack, police teams cordoned off the street where the incident occurred and conducted investigations. While the purpose and perpetrators of the attack have not yet been clarified, police forces have launched a large-scale operation and investigation across the district to capture the fleeing vehicle and the suspects inside it.
