The 36th Civil Chamber of the Ankara Regional Court of Appeals ruled for "absolute nullity" in the case filed against the 38th Ordinary Congress of the Republican People's Party (CHP). The court ordered the interim suspension of Özgür Özel and the current party leadership due to alleged irregularities in the congress.

In line with the decision, former Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and his team were reinstated to the administration.
