A detention order was issued for 25 people, including Serenay Sarıkaya, in a drug operation targeting famous names in Istanbul. Sarıkaya, who is reportedly abroad, said in her first statement that she will return to Turkey and fulfill the necessary procedures. As part of the operation, 17 famous names, including Mabel Matiz, Feyza Civelek, Berkay Şahin, and Onur Tuna, were detained.

As part of the investigation led by the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, a large-scale operation centered in Istanbul was carried out. It was stated that based on incoming reports, examined digital materials, and obtained information, reasonable suspicion arose that some publicly known individuals used drugs and stimulants.

Teams from the Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Command conducted simultaneous operations at 25 predetermined addresses in the Beşiktaş, Sarıyer, Beyoğlu, Kağıthane, and Üsküdar districts of Istanbul, as well as in Muğla, in the morning hours. Within the scope of the operation, detention orders were issued for 25 people.

FIRST STATEMENT FROM SERENAY SARIKAYA

Actor Serenay Sarıkaya, who was issued a detention order, made a statement on her social media account following the developments. Stating that she was on a long-planned trip abroad, Sarıkaya said the following:

“Hello… I received the news while on a long-planned trip abroad… I will return to my country as soon as possible and fulfill all necessary procedures, just like everyone else… I am fine, there is no problem. Love to everyone who is concerned…”

While Sarıkaya's statement quickly became a topic of discussion, it is expected that the actor will give a statement upon their return to Turkey.

It was learned that during searches conducted at the addresses as part of the operation, 17 people were detained, including Mabel Matiz (Fatih Karaca), Feyza Civelek, Volkan Bahçekapalı, Onur Tuna, Berkay Şahin, Osman Haktan Canevi, Aslıhan Turanlı, Kübra İmren Siyahdemir, Mehmet Rahşan, Cansu Tekin, Özgür Deniz Cellat, Tarık Tunca Bakır, Aycan Yağcı, Tuğçe Postoğlu, Eda Dora, Hanzade Gürkanlar, and Yasemin İkbal.

Other names mentioned in the investigation include Tan Taşçı, Yağmur Ünal, Mirgün Sırrı Cabas, Hakan Aydın (Blok 3), Niran Ünsal, Eren Kesimer, Serenay Sarıkaya, and Semiha Bezek.

    In the continuation of his statement, Tan Taşçı stated that there have been no cancellations for his planned concerts. The famous singer said, “There is currently no disruption or cancellation regarding our planned concerts. I will share the developments with you directly as they become clear.”

    MİRGÜN SIRRI CABAS: I LOST MY FATHER YESTERDAY

    Journalist and presenter Mirgün Sırrı Cabas also made a statement following the developments regarding him. Stating that he was in Izmir for his father's funeral, Cabas said the following:

    “I learned this morning from the press that my name was mentioned in an investigation. I lost my father yesterday, and I am in Izmir for his funeral. My lawyers are in contact with the investigation authorities, and I will do what is necessary once I have information. Don't worry.”

    It was learned that the investigation led by the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office is ongoing, and the legal process regarding the individuals issued detention orders continues. It was stated that the digital materials and other evidence obtained during the operation are being examined.
