Gökay Kalaycıoğlu's presentation on Haberler.com YouTube channel, this week's guest of Haber Bahane, mentor and writer Adil Yıldırım, who made a name for himself with his comments on relationships. The famous figure talked about the importance of materialism in relationships.
"THE PROBLEM OF GENERATION Z IS NOT LOVE BUT MATERIALISM"
Yıldırım mentioned that with the change of generations, the perspective on relationships has shifted elsewhere, and the problem of Generation Z is not love but materialism. Young people are looking at how this person will take me. Our generation doesn't ask such a thing. They only think about how to be happier. Most of Generation Z wants to live a luxurious life. Currently, young girls are not interested in a man's profession, but whether he has money or not. The source of the money doesn't matter. Nowadays, even parents don't ask about it," he said.
"80% OF LOVE IS MATERIALISM, 20% IS SEXUALITY"
The famous figure talked about the importance of money in relationships, saying, "There is a generation that says 'My mom, my dad, and no one can interfere with me' and they are coming like a flood. They say 'No rule can stop me.' The change between generations is very sharp. Currently, 80% of love is materialism and 20% is sexuality. Love and commitment are gone. There is intense selfishness in relationships. The whole thing is about materialism," he said.
"MEN WANT TO BE WITH DIVORCED RICH WOMEN"
Adil Yıldırım, who said that now men are also trying to find a rich girlfriend, said: "No matter what, everyone wants to be rich. Previously, a good job, hard work, and intelligence were necessary to become rich. Now it's just marriage. This is also true for men. Some men who cannot work and become rich want to be with divorced rich women. They research women who live in mansions. Men research where those women hang out, where they go on vacation, and which places they frequent. Men rent cars to deceive those women and make themselves look rich. There are men who say 'My wife looks at me, I don't pay the bill.' Because some women say 'In the relationship, the man is mine.' Now both women and men want to live comfortably by eating money," he said.
