A courier who collected 380 grams of gold, with a market value of approximately 2 million 300 thousand lira, from a jeweler in Kağıthane, disappeared without delivering it to the address. In police investigations, the courier's motorcycle was found abandoned, and a large-scale operation has been launched to apprehend the suspect, while his family claims there is a possibility he was kidnapped.

TOOK 380 GRAMS OF GOLD

The incident occurred in Nurtepe neighborhood around 16:45 on Monday, July 20. According to the information obtained, Deniz B. (30), who had been working as a motorcycle courier at a jeweler in Şişli for about a year, collected 380 grams of gold from a jeweler in Kağıthane. After taking the precious items, which have a market value of 2 million 300 thousand lira, the courier set off and was never heard from again.

MOTORCYCLE FOUND ABANDONED

When the gold did not reach the address and the courier could not be reached, the business owner immediately reported the situation to the police and filed a complaint. Upon the report, teams mobilized and found Deniz B.'s motorcycle abandoned in Kağıthane.

"HE MAY HAVE BEEN KIDNAPPED BECAUSE HE HAD A LARGE AMOUNT OF MONEY ON HIM"

While police teams continue their extensive investigation, the anxious wait of the courier's family, who have not heard from their child for 4 days, continues. Father Ramazan Beşli, who expressed concern for his son's life, said, "The incident happened in Kağıthane district. We are worried about his life because he had a large amount of money on him. He picks up the money from his workplace, takes it to the customer, collects the cash there, exchanges it for gold, and then disappears. He left his motorcycle abandoned in the Kağıthane area. We think he was kidnapped; nothing else comes to mind."

"HE PRESSURED ME TO FIND 2 MILLION"

Father Beşli, stating that his son had asked him for money before the incident, said, "He pressured me, saying 'You need to find around 2 million lira.' He said a gun was held to his head, but I couldn't get him to tell me who did it. I said I would take him to the police station; I said, 'If you don't want to go alone, let's call a taxi and go together,' but again I couldn't get him to tell me and couldn't take him. I wish he had told us what happened so we could have informed the security forces. I learned that the jeweler filed a complaint; it's his natural right, I respect that. Frankly, we feel embarrassed in front of him; we've known each other for years. But I cannot imagine my child doing this. I think he might have been kidnapped or locked up, or even eliminated." he said.

"IF YOU ARE ALIVE, LET US KNOW"

The tearful family, stating that their son's phone cannot be reached at all and is not with him, appealed to their son through the public.

Helpless mother Nilüfer Beşli, sobbing, said, "Son, please contact us. If you are alive, if you are under threat, find a way to let us know, please. You have put us in a very difficult situation. Surrender to the nearest security forces. You've ruined us, son, you've ruined us. Let us hear your voice. We are dead, finished, son. We fear for your life. For four days, we've been neither on earth nor in heaven."

MOMENTS HE TOOK THE GOLD ON CAMERA

As the teams continue their on-site investigations, security camera footage showing the moments Deniz B. collected the gold from the jeweler has emerged. The footage shows the suspect calmly taking the gold, getting on his motorcycle, and leaving the workplace. Police teams are continuing their efforts to capture Deniz B.
