In the "Kardelen" operation organized by the police in Konya, a criminal gang operating under the guise of a massage parlor was dismantled. It was determined that the gang recorded customers with hidden cameras and threatened them with blackmail, forcing them into prostitution and various crimes.
With the "Kardelen" operation carried out by the Konya Provincial Police Department's Public Order Branch Robbery Bureau, a dirty crime chain operating in a massage parlor in the Selçuklu district was uncovered.
THEY RECORDED THEIR CUSTOMERS AND FORCED THEM INTO PROSTITUTION
Police teams, through months of meticulous work, determined that women, children, and male employees in the establishment operating under the guise of a massage parlor were being addicted to drugs against their will, and that customers were recorded with hidden cameras and threatened with blackmail to force them into prostitution and various crimes. It was also established that gang members placed weapons in the homes and vehicles of individuals they had enmity with and reported them, causing them to become victims.
5 PEOPLE ARRESTED
With the operation codenamed "Kardelen," the teams of the Konya Provincial Police Department detained 9 suspects. Of the individuals sent to the courthouse, 2 were released under judicial control, 2 were released by the prosecutor's office, while 5 were arrested by the court and sent to prison.
Police officials stated that operations would continue and that the fight against similar crime networks would persist with determination.
