Criminal complaint filed regarding 8 names from Galatasaray

Galatasaray filed a criminal complaint against 8 social media accounts, including former Fenerbahçe executive Hulusi Belgü and former referee Ahmet Çakar. The yellow-red club announced that it will continue to exercise its legal rights.

Galatasaray made a statement on its official website. The yellow-reds announced that criminal complaints have been filed regarding certain social media accounts.

Galatasaray's statement is as follows:

"As Galatasaray Sports Club; we continue to resolutely exercise our legal rights regarding statements and illegitimate posts that target our club, our executives, our athletes, and our millions of fans, which are considered to contain hate speech and have the potential to disrupt public order.

In this context, within the framework of the relevant articles of the Turkish Penal Code, criminal complaints have been filed with the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office in the last ten days regarding the following individuals and social media accounts:
