Stating that he has not received any official notification regarding the investigation, Göktaş said he would inform the public if there are any developments.

In his post, Göktaş said, "The full show is still on YouTube. I've received many questions, but no official information has reached me. If there is, I will inform you from here."

Addressing the claims that he would go abroad, Göktaş said, "No matter what happens, I have no plan to live or do stand-up outside Turkey, because it wouldn't feel the same."

An investigation was launched against comedian Deniz Göktaş due to his stand-up show titled "Dead Sea." The investigation was based on his statements during the show at Harbiye Cemil Topuzlu Open Air Theatre.

In a statement from the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on the matter, it was said, "An investigation has been initiated by our chief public prosecutor's office against the suspect Deniz Göktaş, whose content on some social media platforms contained elements of crime."
"IF THERE IS A SITUATION THAT REQUIRES ME TO BE IN TURKEY, I WILL RETURN"
In a statement on his social media account, Göktaş said he was abroad for a vacation he had been planning for a while. Göktaş said, "If there is a situation that requires me to be in Turkey, I will return on the first flight."
