Deniz Undav, who argued with Barış Alper Yılmaz in the Champions League match where Galatasaray played Stuttgart, became the focus of the discussions. The tension Undav experienced with two Turkish footballers drew attention, as he also fought with İsmail Yüksek in the match where Fenerbahçe defeated Stuttgart 1-0 last season.
Galatasaray increased their points to 6 by beating Stuttgart 2-0 in the Champions League. In the match, the tension between Deniz Undav and Barış Alper Yılmaz drew attention, while it was recalled that Undav had also argued with Fenerbahçe's İsmail Yüksek last season.
HE PUSHED BARIŞ ALPER, AND THE PITCH DESCENDED INTO CHAOS
In the 37th minute of the match, after Barış Alper Yılmaz's foul on Deniz Undav, tensions rose between the two players. After the foul, Undav pushed Barış Alper, and the yellow-and-red-clad player reacted sharply.
While a verbal argument broke out between Barış Alper, who grabbed his opponent by the collar, and Undav, the pitch suddenly descended into chaos as other players also intervened. After the tension, the referee showed both players a yellow card.
LAST SEASON HE HAD ALSO CLASHED WITH İSMAİL YÜKSEK
The argument Deniz Undav had with Barış Alper Yılmaz brought to mind last season's UEFA Europa League match between Fenerbahçe and Stuttgart.
In the match where Fenerbahçe defeated the German team 1-0, Undav had also come face to face with the yellow-navy player İsmail Yüksek. The tension between the two players was one of the notable moments of the match.
ONCE AGAIN DENIZ, ONCE AGAIN TENSION
It drew attention that Deniz Undav, who argued with İsmail Yüksek last season and Barış Alper Yılmaz this season, was associated with similar incidents in both matches he played against Turkish teams. The Stuttgart player's latest argument with Barış Alper also brought back memories of the images from the Fenerbahçe match.
