BBP Chairman Mustafa Destici reacted very harshly via his social media account to the statements made by the DEM Party after the Imrali visit.
"IT IS A NEW EXAMPLE OF THE IMPUDENCE OF DRAWING A COURSE FOR THE STATE"
BBP Chairman Mustafa Destici stated that the DEM Party's statements are unacceptable and said:
"The latest statement shared by the PKK extension DEM Party after the Imrali visit is a new and current example of the impudence of the terrorist organization's leader positioning himself as a structural 'savior' and drawing a course for the state."
"SUBTEXT OF 'TURKEY WILL BE RUINED IF MY MODERATORSHIP ENDS'"
Destici, emphasizing that developments in the Middle East are being used as blackmail material, said:
"This 'baby killer,' who turns the chaotic atmosphere in the Middle East into blackmail material, claims that strategic risks can only be overcome with him, arrogating to himself a savior role with paranoid delusion! This narcissistic threatening language, woven with the subtext 'Turkey will be ruined if my moderatorship ends,' is the audacity of a traitor who has killed tens of thousands of patriotic sons to mock the memory of the state and nation."
"HE IS DIRECTING A HYPOCRITICAL THEATER"
Stating that the realities on the ground refute these claims, Destici noted:
"Moreover, the reality on the ground invalidates this so-called role. It has been repeatedly proven that he no longer has any comprehensive actual influence over any terrorist elements, from Syria to Iraq, from the mountain cadre to the diaspora. Despite this, the Imrali murderer is directing a hypocritical theater that says one thing at the table and another in the mountains; while claiming 'micro-nationalism harms the Middle East,' on the other hand, he keeps alive the separatist 'four-piece Kurdistan' ideal under the auspices of the USA, CENTCOM, and Israel."
The BBP leader stated: "This mentality, which even labels a football team in our official league as the 'team of Kurdistan,' is trying to turn the process into a negotiation with blackmail of 'we won't give unless we receive' without laying down arms and showing remorse."
"OUR NATIONAL UNITY AND INTEGRITY CANNOT BE DISCUSSED UNDER THE SHADOW OF WEAPONS"
Emphasizing that the state and nation will never allow such games, Destici concluded his statement as follows:
"The stance of our noble nation and our ancient 'state wisdom' against this statement is clear: No passage will be given to the savior roles of a traitor who has betrayed the destiny of this country and to the efforts of political structures under the shadow of terrorism to legitimize this rejection! Our national unity and integrity cannot be discussed under the shadow of weapons. The Republic of Turkey has the power to conduct both its fight against terrorism and its regional policies with its own 'state wisdom' and national will, without needing a bloody terrorist apparatus. And, God willing, it will be so."
