Despite all interventions at the hospital, Aybüke lost her life, while the detained grandfather was released with judicial control conditions after procedures. The aftermath of the accident was recorded with a mobile phone camera.

HE LET HIS GRANDDAUGHTER OUT, BUT THE VEHICLE DID NOT STOP

The accident occurred on Sunday, July 5, at around 16:00 in Atışalanı District. According to claims, A.H. arrived on the street and let his granddaughter Aybüke H. out of the vehicle. Then the vehicle continued moving. Meanwhile, his granddaughter, waiting on the street, was run over and crushed under the vehicle. Upon notification, medical and police teams were dispatched to the scene. Police teams took security precautions in the area and launched an investigation into the accident.

THE PAINFUL NEWS CAME FROM THE HOSPITAL

A.H. and his relatives took Aybüke H. to a nearby hospital using their own means. After initial treatment there, Aybüke was transferred to Prof. Dr. Cemil Taşcıoğlu City Hospital in Şişli. It was learned that despite all interventions at the hospital, Aybüke lost her life.

THE DETAINED GRANDFATHER WAS RELEASED

Grandfather A.H. was detained by police teams at the scene. After completing his procedures at the police station, A.H. was referred to the courthouse. A.H. was released with judicial control conditions, while the aftermath of the accident was recorded by a nearby citizen with a mobile phone camera.

At the moment of the incident, the screams of the woman, believed to be Aybüke's mother, were heartbreaking.
