Engin Polat, who was facing up to 40 years in prison in the 'money laundering' case, has been released. His wife, Dilan Polat, was overjoyed upon hearing the news. The verdict was announced in the case where Dilan and her husband Engin Polat were demanded to be sentenced to a total of 20 to 40 years in prison for 3 separate crimes. Engin Polat, Sezgin Polat, Alper Kürşat Polat, and accountant Ahmet Gün, who are 4 of the defendants, were released. Dilan Polat, upon learning the verdict, experienced great joy.
