In the Meram district of Konya, a dispute broke out between 21-year-old Hüseyin K. and Hacı Hasan Gökgöz, his mother's boyfriend, after Hüseyin K. objected to them living together. As the argument escalated, the suspect opened fire with a handgun he had on him and fled the scene. Gökgöz was taken to the hospital but died, while the suspect was arrested.

A blood-curdling incident occurred last night in the Gödene neighborhood of Konya's Meram district. According to information obtained, 55-year-old Hacı Hasan Gökgöz started a quarrel with 21-year-old Hüseyin K., the son of his live-in girlfriend, after the latter objected to him living with his mother.
Killed Hacı Hasan Gökgöz KILLED HIS MOTHER'S BOYFRIEND As the argument escalated, Hüseyin K. fired a pistol he had on him at Hacı Hasan Gökgöz. Seeing Gökgöz collapse in a pool of blood, Hüseyin K. fled the scene. The injured man was taken to the hospital after initial first aid by medical teams dispatched upon notification. Despite all interventions, Hacı Hasan Gökgöz could not be saved and died.
ARRESTED The suspect was quickly apprehended by the Homicide Bureau of the Public Order Department and taken into custody. He was taken to the police station for questioning, and after procedures there, he was brought to Konya Numune Hospital for a health check-up. Following the health check, the suspect was referred to the courthouse. He was arrested by the judge on duty."}
