The Ministry of Labor and Social Security announced that an agreement was reached between the mine workers employed at Doruk Mining and the employer, and in this context, the workers' side decided to end their ongoing protests.
The Ministry of Labor and Social Security announced that, regarding the process at Doruk Mining and Electricity Generation Industry Trade Inc. operating in Eskişehir, the payment of workers' receivables has been scheduled with a protocol signed between the Turkish Mine Workers' Union and the employer parties.
AGREEMENT REACHED BETWEEN WORKERS AND EMPLOYER
In the statement made on the social media account of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, the following expressions were included: "The developments regarding the process at Doruk Mining and Electricity Generation Industry Trade Inc., a subsidiary of Yıldızlar SSS Holding operating in Eskişehir, have been closely monitored by our Ministry from the very first moment; necessary meetings have been held with all relevant parties. As a result of the negotiations conducted between the worker and employer parties through our Ministry's initiatives and the talks held on June 15-16, 2026, an important consensus has been reached today with the participation of employer representatives and authorized union representatives.
"PAYMENT OF WORKERS' RECEIVABLES HAS BEEN SCHEDULED WITH THE SIGNED PROTOCOL"
Within the framework of this consensus, the payment of workers' receivables has been scheduled with a protocol signed between the Turkish Mine Workers' Union, as the authorized union, and the employer parties. Accordingly, the payment of the rights and receivables agreed upon within the scope of the protocol has been guaranteed. Following the meticulously conducted process and the talks held, the worker side has decided to end their ongoing actions with the consensus reached between the parties. All necessary steps will continue to be taken decisively to protect workers' rights and maintain labor peace, based on the understanding of social dialogue in working life."
