DRONE ATTACK ON TEAM BUS

A drone strike was carried out on a bus carrying a Belarusian youth football team in Russia's Bryansk region. Bryansk Governor Yegor Kravchuk said in a post on his social media account that the bus was attacked by Ukraine, one woman accompanying the players was killed, and seven people, including five children, were injured.

Kravchuk stated that the team was traveling from Gomel, Belarus to Gelendzhik, Russia for a holiday, and there were 44 passengers on the vehicle, including 28 young athletes. Russia's Investigative Committee launched an investigation into the attack.

Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said in a statement that they condemn the latest attack by Ukraine on Russian soil, adding, "This is another terrorist act by the Kiev regime targeting civilians, especially children."

Belarusian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ruslan Varankov also said in a statement that they strongly condemn the attack on the bus carrying Belarusian citizens. Varankov stated that Belarusian authorities are demanding a comprehensive explanation from Ukraine regarding the attack.
