After a dispute that started on social media in Bursa, a knife fight broke out between two groups who met up, resulting in the death of 22-year-old Fırat Berke Alkan and injuries to his friend. Three suspects were apprehended in connection with the incident, while one person remains missing.

In Bursa, after insulting each other on social media, two groups met on the street and engaged in a knife fight. Fırat Berke Alkan (22) died from chest and back wounds, and his friend Yusuf D. (22) was injured. Following the incident, 3 suspects involved in the fight were caught, while efforts to apprehend 1 person continue.

ARGUMENT STARTED ON SOCIAL MEDIA TURNS INTO BRAWL

The incident occurred around 19:00 on Selçukbey Street in the Selçukbey neighborhood of Yıldırım district center. According to allegations, Fırat Berke Alkan and his friend Yusuf D. began arguing with Görkem Ö., with whom they had a feud, via social media and phone. After mutual insults, the parties decided to meet on Selçukbey Street to discuss the matter.

STABBED MULTIPLE TIMES

When Alkan and Yusuf D. arrived at the meeting point, they encountered a large group. The argument between the parties quickly escalated into a brawl involving kicks and punches. During the scuffle, Fırat Berke Alkan, struck by knife wounds to the chest and back, and Yusuf D., injured in the arm and waist, collapsed in blood. The other group fled the scene.

LOST HIS LIFE

Upon notification by bystanders, numerous police and medical teams were dispatched to the area. Severely injured Fırat Berke Alkan was taken by ambulance to Yüksek İhtisas Training and Research Hospital. Despite all interventions, Alkan could not be saved, while Yusuf D.'s treatment is reported to be ongoing.

3 SUSPECTS CAUGHT, 1 PERSON SOUGHT

Following the incident, police teams launched efforts to apprehend the fleeing suspects. Gökmen Ö. (19), Ahmet A. (18), and Aşkın Bora T. (18), identified as involved in the fight, were caught and taken into custody in Nilüfer district. Operations have also been initiated to capture suspect Görkem Ö. The investigation into the incident continues.
