28 CASUALTIES IN DRONE STRIKE
As the civil war continues in Yemen, the death toll is rising every day. The civil society organization Sudan Emergency Lawyers stated that a drone strike was carried out yesterday on the Al-Safia market in the town of Soudari, located in North Kordofan province, announcing that 28 people lost their lives in the attack. The organization reported that among the deceased were many women and children, describing the attack as "a humanitarian tragedy."
NOBODY HAS CLAIMED RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE ATTACK
It is still unknown who carried out the attack. The civil society organization pointed out that drone strikes have increased in Kordofan and Darfur, where clashes between the Sudanese army and RSF continue, calling on the Sudan Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) paramilitary group to stop the drone strikes, avoid targeting civilian areas, and comply with international humanitarian law.
