The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Legal Consultancy has referred Galatasaray and the president of the yellow-red club, Dursun Özbek, to the Professional Football Discipline Board (PFDK).
The referrals made to the Professional Football Discipline Board on 19.02.2025 by the Turkish Football Federation Legal Consultancy have been announced.
Galatasaray Club and president Dursun Özbek were referred to the Professional Football Discipline Board (PFDK) due to "statements aimed at damaging the reputation of football" mentioned in a post made on the club's official social media account.
The referrals to the board are as follows:
"The referral of GALATASARAY A.Ş. Club to the PFDK in accordance with Article 38 of the Football Discipline Regulation due to the 'statements aimed at damaging the reputation of football' mentioned in a post made on the club's official social media account on 19.02.2025,
It has been decided to refer GALATASARAY A.Ş. Club President DURSUN AYDIN ÖZBEK to the PFDK without precaution in accordance with Article 38 of the Football Discipline Regulation due to the 'statements aimed at damaging the reputation of football' mentioned in a post made on the club's official social media account on 19.02.2025."
