The consumer confidence index, calculated in collaboration with TÜİK and TCMB, was 81 in January and increased by 1.4% to 82.1 in February. It was reported that this rate is the highest in the last 20 months.
The consumer confidence index, calculated from the results of the consumer tendency survey conducted in cooperation with the Turkish Statistical Institute and the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, was 81.0 in January and increased by 1.4% to 82.1 in February.
The consumer confidence index can take values between 0 and 200. A consumer confidence index greater than 100 indicates an optimistic situation in consumer confidence, while a value less than 100 indicates a pessimistic situation in consumer confidence.
