Stadium pitch problems at Galatasaray continue despite renovation work. Club president Dursun Özbek requested a free restoration from the British contractor, saying, 'We will not pay, come and fix this.' The pitch deteriorating in a short time also drew reactions from the players and technical staff.
The pitch surface problem at Galatasaray’s stadium and facilities, which could never be resolved, has recurred despite renovation work. Although it had recently undergone maintenance, the deterioration on the RAMS Park pitch drew the reaction of club president Dursun Özbek.

According to Levent Tüzemen’s claim, Özbek came together with club executives and officials from the British contracting company carrying out the pitch renovation process and made a harsh statement. It was learned that Özbek, reacting to the lack of results despite the work, gave the instruction "We will not pay any money. Come and fix this," and stipulated that the restoration be carried out free of charge.
COMPLAINTS CAME ONE AFTER ANOTHER
Galatasaray had carried out pitch work during the previous international break and had the pitch ready for the Kasımpaşa match on October 9. However, the pitch deteriorating again in less than a month drew reactions from Okan Buruk in particular, as well as Ismail Jakobs and Victor Osimhen.
