Another striking detail was that Cebeci went to the restroom to change her clothes before her statement procedures at the prosecutor's office. It was observed that after leaving the restroom, Cebeci wore a shirt under her jacket.

It was announced that as part of the drug investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, three other individuals, along with Mehmet Akif Ersoy, were detained by the Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Command teams, and that Ersoy was removed from his position as the General Director of Habertürk TV by the TMSF following this process. Mehmet Akif Ersoy was arrested on charges of "providing a place and opportunity for the use of narcotic substances," "gaining sectoral and material benefits by engaging women around him in sexual intercourse," and "establishing and managing an organization."

Additionally, it was learned that recently news anchors Ela Rümeysa Cebeci, Meltem Acet, and Hande Sarıoğlu were also detained as part of the same investigation and were referred to the Forensic Medicine Institution after their procedures at the courthouse.
