On the other hand, Cebeci, who initially denied using drugs, later confessed. In her additional statement on December 20, Cebeci said, "I had previously stated that I did not use drugs. Today, I am giving a statement voluntarily to reveal the truth. I have never sold drugs to anyone. I provided the password to my phone voluntarily because I trusted myself. I even provided the password to my second phone voluntarily." she stated.

In her additional statement, Cebeci confessed to using drugs, saying, "I did not give drugs to anyone. However, evidence has emerged in my blood and WhatsApp messages indicating that I used drugs. I used drugs in the past. But I never used K. or chemical drugs." she said.

As part of the drug investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was announced that three other individuals, along with Mehmet Akif Ersoy, were detained by the Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Command teams, and that Ersoy was removed from his position as the General Director of Habertürk TV by the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) following this process. Mehmet Akif Ersoy was arrested by the court on charges of "providing a place and opportunity for drug use," "gaining sectoral and material benefits by engaging women around him in sexual relations," and "establishing and managing an organization."
