Bosphorus Electricity Distribution Inc. (BEDAŞ) announced that a power outage will occur in 20 major districts on the European Side on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, as part of infrastructure strengthening and maintenance works. Due to planned operations, outages in many neighborhoods across the city are expected to last up to 9 hours.

(BEDAŞ) announced that a power outage will occur in 20 districts on the European side of Istanbul on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, as part of planned maintenance and investment works. Due to the works, some neighborhoods will be without electricity for up to 9 hours.
ELECTRICITY WILL BE CUT BETWEEN 09:00 AND 17:00
According to BEDAŞ's statement, most of the outages to be implemented in line with infrastructure renewal and maintenance processes will take place between 09:00 and 17:00.
