President Erdoğan commented on the reception photo at the Turkish Grand National Assembly, stating, "That frame is the true picture of Turkey. Some are trying to portray Turkey as divided into camps and fragmented, but the reality is the image of unity and solidarity there. Those who cannot be a part of that picture should sit down and hold themselves accountable."
President Erdoğan answered questions from journalists accompanying him on the plane returning from Azerbaijan, where he attended the 12th Summit of the Turkic States Organization.
In response to a question regarding the images of him meeting with numerous opposition party leaders at the opening of the new legislative year of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM), Erdoğan stated, "That frame is a real photo of Turkey. Those who are not in that picture should hold themselves accountable."

President Erdoğan's full statement is as follows: "The presence of those who attended the reception for the opening of the Assembly was very, very important for us. We also met with the DEM Group there, and we had conversations. Besides these conversations, we had the opportunity to discuss what can be done for the future. I hope that what comes next will be good."
