Actor Erkan Petekkaya made a statement after the reactions following his comment on Hülya Avşar’s stage walk. Petekkaya, who said he loves Avşar very much and sees her as an artist he is a fan of, stated that his words were intended as a joke.

Petekkaya, who said he saw Avşar’s flirtatious walk and joked about it, reacted to his words being interpreted differently. The actor said, “I love Ms. Hülya very much. She is an artist I am a fan of. Now, don’t get me wrong, she has a flirtatious walk. I saw that too, so I made a joke like that.”
Petekkaya, conveying that Hülya Avşar said to him, “My dear Erkan, I blew you kisses,” criticized his words being made a topic of discussion by others. He used the expressions, “A lot of people turned it into material for themselves, ridiculous things. I don’t like this thing called the show business world.”
