Trabzonspor President Ertuğrul Doğan described the transfer process of world star Mohamed Salah. Doğan emphasized that Salah's reason for coming to Trabzonspor was not financial, saying, 'His intention was not financial; it was to experience the excitement and passionate love here. Trabzonspor President Ertuğrul Doğan made striking statements after the signing ceremony of world star Mohamed Salah. Explaining the behind-the-scenes of the transfer process, Doğan emphasized that financial factors were not decisive in bringing the Egyptian star to Trabzonspor.

Referring to Salah's approach during the transfer process, Ertuğrul Doğan said, "You cannot persuade and bring a player like Salah with money. We were with him last night; one of the contract offers he presented to us was 4 times the amount we offered. His intention was not financial; he wanted to experience the excitement and passionate love here. Our former player Trezeguet also contributed by giving a positive reference during the process.
