Iran's recent intense missile and drone attacks on Gulf countries and Israel have raised concerns in the region. Especially in the United Arab Emirates, which has been hit even harder by Iran than Israel, the public became anxious after hearing explosion-like sounds, prompting the Ministry of Interior to announce that the sounds heard across the country were due to thunder.

Iran's recent intense missile and drone attacks on Gulf countries and Israel have increased concerns in the region. Following reports of explosion-like sounds heard by the public in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), officials made a noteworthy statement.

INTENSE ATTACKS FROM IRAN

39.30% of Iran's retaliatory concept attacks targeted the United Arab Emirates, 15.78% Israel, 15.30% Kuwait, 12.22% Saudi Arabia, 7.19% Bahrain, 5.25% Jordan, and 4.78% Qatar.

Between February 28 and March 21, Iran conducted 4,509 missile and drone attacks against some regional countries outside of Israel.

The most targeted UAE experienced 2,104 attacks, followed by Kuwait with 819, Saudi Arabia with 654, Bahrain with 385, Qatar with 256, Jordan with 281, and Oman with 7 attacks.

Iran also launched 345 missiles and 500 drones against Israel between February 28 and March 19.

PUBLIC IS NERVOUS AT EVERY SOUND

After the intense attacks, it is reported that citizens living in the UAE are anxious at every sound they hear. Especially noises heard at night have caused concern, prompting the Ministry of Interior to make a statement.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT RELEASED

The UAE Ministry of Interior announced that the sounds heard across the country were caused by thunder.

"WARNING WILL BE ISSUED IN CASE OF THREAT"

The ministry also emphasized that in the event of any threat, the public will be immediately informed through the National Early Warning System, and necessary instructions will be shared.
