The sentences of Javad Zamani and Abolfeyz Saadi, who were sentenced to death for leading violent incidents during the protests that began in Iran at the end of 2025, have been carried out. According to the Mizan News Agency affiliated with Iran's Judiciary, the death sentences for Javad Zamani and Abolfazl Saadi were executed in the morning hours.
Judicial authorities claimed that the two individuals led violent acts during the protests, used firearms, damaged public and private property, disrupted public order, and endangered national security.
PROTESTS SPREAD ACROSS THE COUNTRY
Demonstrations that began on December 28, 2025, in Iran due to economic hardships and the rapid depreciation of the local currency against foreign exchange quickly spread nationwide.
Initially led by shopkeepers in Tehran's Grand Bazaar, the protests turned into large-scale actions in many cities.

According to a previous statement by Iran's Martyr and Veterans Foundation Forensic Medicine Organization, 3,117 people, including security forces and civilians, lost their lives in incidents during the protests.
Authorities stated that 2,427 of the deceased were security personnel and civilians killed by armed groups, while they did not share detailed information about the remaining individuals.
