"IT IS SAD TO SEE THAT THE ALLEGATIONS ARE IN THIS DIRECTION"

In her statement to the prosecutor, Farah Zeynep Abdullah said that she first followed the events through the media with her own means, and that upon personally applying to the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, she learned that there were much deeper and bigger problems than what was reflected to the public.

Abdullah continued her statement, saying, "This situation increased my sadness and disappointment even more. As for the part concerning me, it is as follows: I did not participate in the work related to the association at that time. I also did not make any statements that would expand the influence area of the association's activities. In fact, I had not fully come to terms with collecting direct donations after the disaster that struck my inner world, so I approached the work with great distance, but of course, I was aware that I had a social responsibility after the disaster. With this awareness, I established direct communication with the earthquake victims. I tried to do my best. I think I did. Since I carried this out with my personal efforts, I do not want to go into too much detail."

"I WOULD HAVE WISHED TO BE HAPPY THAT THE DONATIONS WERE USED APPROPRIATELY"

Stating that she did not have any coordinated activities with the Ahbap Association, Farah Zeynep Abdullah said:

"I only tried to provide coordination for aid by making phone calls until dawn on Babala TV. I carried this out with the utmost good intentions. I also think I was useful. Right now, I would have wished to learn that the donations collected at that time to heal a wound were used appropriately and to fully meet the needs, and to be happy about it. I would have wanted to be proud of it, but it is sad for me to see that the situation is exactly the opposite, or at least that the allegations are in this direction."
