President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, at a joint press conference held after his meeting with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, strongly criticized the Israeli administration. Erdogan said, "The aim of the Netanyahu government is to profit from chaos and new conflicts in the region in order to remove Palestine from humanity's common agenda," and stated that the Israeli administration continues its aggressive stance.

ERDOGAN'S HARSH CRITICISM OF NETANYAHU

President Erdogan stated that in his meeting with Abbas, they discussed in detail the current situation of the occupied Palestinian territories. Drawing attention to the ongoing attacks, violations, and provocations against Palestine, Erdogan emphasized their opposition to provocations, especially at the Al-Aqsa Mosque and other holy sites.

Erdogan, directly targeting the Netanyahu government, said, "The aim of the Netanyahu government is to profit from chaos and new conflicts in the region in order to remove Palestine from humanity's common agenda."

"NO MATTER WHAT THEY DO, THEY WILL NOT SUCCEED"

Erdogan, stating that the Israeli administration's policies will not be enough to remove the Palestinian cause from the agenda, said, "No matter what they do, they will not succeed in this. The Palestinian cause will continue to grow in hearts."

Erdogan, stating that Turkey will continue its support for Palestine, said they will fight for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with its capital in East Jerusalem, based on the 1967 borders.

"THE ISRAELI ADMINISTRATION CONTINUES ITS AGGRESSIVE STANCE"

Also touching on the situation in Gaza, Erdogan noted that the Israeli administration displays an uncompromising and aggressive attitude.

Erdogan said, "We are facing an Israeli administration that has adopted a policy of no solution in Gaza. The current Israeli administration continues its uncompromising and aggressive stance."

President Erdogan also stated that the attitudes of those who favor peace in the region and those who want the continuation of conflicts are now clearer, and called for the urgent creation of the necessary conditions to start the reconstruction and construction process in Gaza and ensure security.

"THE PALESTINIAN PEOPLE REMAIN UPRIGHT"

Erdogan noted that according to United Nations data, in 2026 alone, approximately 3,800 Palestinians were displaced due to settler terror, demolitions, and evictions, and about 100 Palestinians lost their lives.

Erdogan, saying that the existence of a sovereign Palestinian state is being undermined, stated that despite all attempts at deportation and intimidation, the Palestinian people continue to stand firm.

President Erdogan emphasized that supporting Palestine is a common responsibility of all humanity, especially the Islamic world, and expressed his hope that the legislative and presidential elections planned in Palestine would contribute to the unity and reconciliation process among Palestinians.
