In Adana, on the TAG Highway, a car rear-ended a fuel tanker in front of it, resulting in the death of the driver Hasan Yaman, while his two children trapped in the vehicle were rescued with injuries.
Driver Hasan Yaman (35) lost his life and his two children were injured after being trapped in the car when his vehicle rear-ended a fuel tanker ahead on the TAG Highway in Adana.
CAR TURNED INTO SCRAP
The accident occurred late at night on the TAG Highway in the Bahçeşehir neighborhood of Seyhan district, Adana. The car with license plate 07 MYE 01, driven by Hasan Yaman, rear-ended a fuel tanker with license plate 01 VP 483, driven by A.Ç., which was traveling ahead. Due to the impact, the car went under the tanker and was reduced to scrap.
Upon notification from other drivers who witnessed the accident, numerous medical and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The teams arriving at the scene rescued the driver's children E.Y. (9) and N.Y. (5), who were trapped in the car and injured, and after providing first aid, they were taken to the hospital by ambulance.
CHILDREN'S TREATMENT CONTINUES IN HOSPITAL
In the checks performed by medical teams, it was determined that the father Hasan Yaman, trapped in the driver's seat, had lost his life at the scene. Yaman's lifeless body was removed from the vehicle by the teams and taken to the Adana Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for an autopsy.
While the treatment of the 2 children taken under care at the hospital continues, the police have launched an investigation into the accident.
