According to the information obtained, a quarrel broke out between 23-year-old Birsen Y. and her father Ü.Y. (56) for an unknown reason during the night, after she returned to her father's home in the Caberkonaklı neighborhood following a divorce some time ago.
YOUNG WOMAN LOSES HER LIFE
During the argument, which quickly escalated, the father stabbed his daughter. Health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification.
Health teams determined that Birsen Y. had lost her life.
FATHER TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
Following the incident, Ü.Y. was taken into custody by gendarmerie teams and brought to the station. Birsen Y.'s body was taken to the Izmir Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for autopsy procedures, while an investigation into the incident has been initiated.
