Fatma Soydaş, who was under investigation by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office for her posts on social media platforms, has been arrested. In her statement to the court, she denied the allegations and pointed to artificial intelligence. Footage has emerged showing Soydaş waiting for the judge's decision in the courthouse corridors. In the images, the young woman's anxious demeanor drew attention.

According to the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office statement, an investigation was launched against Soydaş under the username "fffatmaase_" for posts on social media accounts, on charges of "publicly insulting religious values adopted by a segment of the public" and "publishing obscene images."

ARRESTED

Within the scope of the investigation, Soydaş, for whom an arrest warrant was issued, was taken into custody in Istanbul. After police procedures, Soydaş, whose statement was taken via the Audio and Visual Information System (SEGBİS), was referred to the duty magistrate's court with a request for arrest. The magistrate decided to arrest Soydaş on the charge of "publishing obscene images."

In her statement in court, Soydaş, who claimed there was no obscene content on her subscription-based account, said, "Everyone thinks so because of the artificial intelligence photos made of me; I am innocent."
