In a cabinet reshuffle in Yemen, Efrah Abdulaziz al-Zube became the first woman in the country's history to be appointed as Minister of Foreign Affairs. Zube, who previously served as Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, was assigned to her new role by presidential decree.

A cabinet reshuffle has been carried out in Yemen by presidential decree. According to Yemen's official news agency SABA, new ministerial appointments were made as part of the changes in the government of Prime Minister Shai Mohsen al-Zindani.

With the decree, Afrah Abdulaziz al-Zuba became the first woman in Yemen's history to be appointed to the position of Minister of Foreign Affairs. Zuba, who previously served as Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, will now serve as Foreign Minister in the new cabinet.

As part of the cabinet reshuffle, Badr Muhammad Mubarak Baselme was appointed as Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, while Ahd Muhammad Salim Ja'soos was appointed to the position of Minister of Local Administration.
