WHO IS CHRIS SILVA?
Born on September 19, 1996, in Libreville, Gabon, Chris Silva moved to America at the age of 15 for his education and basketball career. He started his high school career at Roselle High School and was part of the team that won the state championship in his senior year.
After high school, Silva began his NCAA career with the South Carolina Gamecocks, where he stood out on a team that reached the Final Four in 2017. In 2018, he won significant individual awards in the Southeastern Conference and excelled with his defensive effectiveness.
NBA AND CLUB CAREER
Silva signed a two-way contract with the Miami Heat in the 2019-20 season and competed against the Lakers in the 2020 NBA Finals. Throughout his career, he has played for NBA teams such as the Miami Heat, Sacramento Kings, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Dallas Mavericks. He has also played in the G-League and for various clubs in Puerto Rico and Israel.

Silva also delivered an impressive performance with the Gabon National Team, averaging 25.0 points, 14.7 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 29.3 efficiency points in three games during the FIBA AfroBasket Qualifiers.
