Nikola Kalinic, who played a significant role in Fenerbahçe's first EuroLeague championship, has announced his retirement from professional basketball at the age of 35.

Serbian forward Nikola Kalinic, who wrote his name in golden letters in Turkish basketball history with the Fenerbahçe Beko jersey, announced that he has ended his active basketball career. The 35-year-old veteran stated that while bidding farewell to the courts, he will continue his career within basketball.

A NEW CHAPTER AT RED STAR

Kalinic, leaving his playing days behind, is preparing to take on a new role on the sidelines. In his statement, the Serbian basketball player said, "I am ending my active career. Over the next two years, I will serve as an assistant coach at Red Star. During this period, I also aim to complete my coaching education thoroughly."
