The fire that started on Friday evening at Kipaş Paper Factory located in Söke OSB in Aydın has been going on for 4 days. The fire, which has been burning for 5 days and is said to have affected an area of approximately 250,000 square meters, has turned Söke OSB into a volcano-like appearance.
EFFORTS ARE BEING MADE TO PREVENT IT FROM SPREADING TO OTHER FACTORIES
The extinguishing efforts continue uninterruptedly in the fire, while efforts are also underway to prevent the fire from spreading to other factories in the region.
REINFORCEMENT TEAMS SENT FROM 23 CITIES
The extinguishing teams that came to the region from 23 different cities, including the Aydın Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department and the extinguishing teams affiliated with the Muğla Forest Regional Directorate, have been carrying out their work since Friday, July 12, 17:15, but no results have been achieved yet.
