The incident occurred on December 25 in the bus heading from Avcılar to Zincirlikuyu. According to the claim, a woman placed her bag on an empty seat and started to stand while traveling. When a man in the vehicle wanted to sit down, the two men next to the woman began to argue with the person who wanted to sit.

The argument quickly escalated into a fight. The fight between the parties ended when other passengers in the bus intervened. It was learned that no police complaint was filed regarding the incident.
