A fire broke out at a workplace producing plastic gloves in the Umraniye Organized Industrial Zone. After the fire, the workshop became unusable.
The fire that broke out on the third floor of a three-story workshop producing plastic gloves in Ümraniye was extinguished with the intervention of firefighting teams. There were no fatalities or injuries in the fire, and the extinguishing efforts were filmed from the air. The fire started around 10:30 a.m. on the third floor of the three-story workshop located on 1st Street in Dudullu Industrial Zone. The flames grew rapidly due to an as yet unknown cause, and thick smoke enveloped the entire building. Employees were evacuated and the situation was reported to firefighting teams. Upon notification, numerous fire, health, and police teams were dispatched to the scene.
NO LOSS OF LIFE IN THE FIRE
Police teams closed the street to traffic and took security measures in the area. Firefighting teams intervened in the fire with foam and pressurized water using a ladder truck. After approximately one hour of work, the fire was extinguished. There was no loss of life or injuries in the fire, but damage occurred at the workplace. While the fire extinguishing efforts were filmed from the air, police teams launched an investigation into the cause of the fire.
